Ivory Taylor (she/her) is the Associate Director at Housing Justice Center, where she co-leads statewide efforts to advance comprehensive HOA reform and source of income protections in Minnesota. A lifelong advocate shaped by her experiences growing up in a housing insecure, low-income, bicultural family with disabilities, Ivory brings deep lived expertise in navigating housing and social service systems. With eight years in the housing justice field, she has organized renters, built coalitions, and co-founded Amplify MN: A Disability Justice Collective. Her work includes initiatives like Radical Belonging in Housing Justice, focused on building cross-sector solidarity between disability and housing justice movements. Ivory is a systems thinker and policy strategist who translates complex issues into accessible, equity-centered solutions. She is currently supporting the rewrite of Minnesota’s Olmstead Plan to shift the focus from disability services to disability justice—ensuring Minnesotans with disabilities have what they need to thrive.
