Community Development
Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) is an association of nonprofit affordable housing and economic development organizations from across the state, committed to expanding wealth building opportunities and advancing racial and economic justice. For over 33 years, our members have worked collectively to leverage resources for the development of people and places.
As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), MCCD provides business advising services and access to low-cost capital for entrepreneurs and business owners who have been locked out of traditional banking institutions, with a focus on Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), low-wealth individuals, women and other marginalized groups.
MCCD primarily serves in cities and counties around the Twin Cities region including Anoka County, Dakota County, Hennepin County, Ramsey County, Washington County, and City of Northfield.
