Kit joined MCCD as the Interim Chief Executive Officer in April 2026.
Kit brings over a decade of community development to this role, including eight years as Executive Director of Mni Sota Fund, an MCCD member organization. Under Kit’s leadership, Mni Sota Fund grew from a small startup CDFI into a $17 million institution that earned the Bush Prize in 2024.
Having served as an Interim Executive at multiple organizations, Kit also brings direct experience leading organizations through transitions that result in catalytic opportunities for renewal and growth.
Kit has previously served on the MCCD board of directors, and ge comes to this role with a deep commitment to MCCD’s members, mission, and the community development ecosystem as a whole.
