Damon Mason

Damon Mason was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. At an early age, he knew he wanted to be a part of a community that was progressive, thriving and openly adapting to cultural differences. Entering the lending industry in 2004 as a mortgage loan officer, he has also worked as a processor, underwriter, communications lead, and in compliance. These disciplines inspired his belief that housing belongs to everyone. In 2023, he joined Rondo CLT as the Senior Housing Program Manager, bringing well over 20 years of experience. Throughout his 2+ years at Rondo CLT, he has been a passionate, highly effective advocate for housing justice and decreasing racial homeownership gap in the state. Due to his determination and support, he was elevated to Director of Operations in 2025 where he is now responsible for operational leadership, team development, strategic planning, and oversight of Rondo CLT’s residential and commercial programming.
