Schedule (October 4-8, 2021)
Joint sessions (October 4-5)

National sessions covering a wide range of topics and featuring keynote speaker is HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge. See all of the sessions and information here: https://resilientcommunitiesforum.org/sessions/
Secretary Fudge will discuss the critical role of community development organizations in the Biden administration's recovery agenda, which prioritizes equitable resource distribution, community power, and accountability. She will also share her vision for HUD’s role in advancing racial equity and addressing structural racism in the housing and community development sector.
State Session (October 6)
MCCD’s state conference day (10:00am-4:30pm with breaks)
MCCD is excited to kick-off a great day of sessions on October 6th with Minnesota’s 50th Lt. Governor, Peggy Flanagan and Minnesota based artist Joe Davis. Lt. Governor Flanagan is a mom, member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe and her career has been centered on standing up for children, working families, communities of color and Indigenous communities, and Minnesotans who have historically been underserved and underrepresented. She will discuss the critical role community development organizations play in Minnesota, especially in terms of resiliency from the pandemic and the civil uprising in the past year and a half. We are also excited to be joined by Minneapolis based artist and poet, Joe Davis, to perform an original piece. Joe Davis is a nationally-touring artist, educator, and speaker. He employs poetry, music, theater, and dance to shape culture.
