Governed by executive directors of local community development organizations, MCCD is an association through which community developers strive to advance their shared mission: to work collectively to build strong stable communities by leveraging resources for the development of people and places.

Our individual members vary in their approach to community development. We have members that work primarily on developing high quality affordable housing for low and moderate income individuals and families in the Twin Cities. Other members promote entrepreneurship and small business development. Still others take a comprehensive approach by linking housing, employment and neighborhood revitalization. All seek to direct economic and social resources towards underserved communities.
