Caitlin is a member of MCCD’s public policy team, focusing on local and regional housing issues. Caitlin is passionate about increasing community engagement and involvement in public policy and community decision making, particularly for people who are most impacted. Her advocacy for affordable homes is rooted direct service experience in multiple affordable housing programs in the Twin Cities, including emergency shelter and supportive housing. Caitlin has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities and a Master’s in Advocacy & Public Policy Leadership from Metropolitan State University. A lifelong St. Paul resident from the East Side, she now lives in the Snelling-Hamline neighborhood with her husband and cat.
